Kyiv
Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, is an important economic, political and cultural center of the country. Founded in the 9th century AD, the city has a rich history and prides itself on having numerous historical monuments. Kyiv occupies the territory of 839 sq.km., only 42% of which is occupied by buildings. The rest is taken up by rivers and parks, which rightfully allows to call Kyiv a green city. In the recent years, Kyiv has been showing good dynamics by nearly every social and economic indicator.
