The shopping amd etntertainment center



The main architectural idea of the project is the central three-level shopping center directly linked with the subway and other neighboring buildings.

The shopping and entertainment center occupies three levels, each being 40,000-46,000 sq.m. A hypermarket with direct access to the subway is at a separate lower level.

The shopping center’s main direction is “entertaining shopping.”

The center consists of stylish shops, restaurants, an entertainment complex with cinema halls and bowling.

A spacious five-level atrium with a glass dome (almost the size of a football field) unites all the levels, and as the center’s heart, hosts a skating rink and a food court. A separate parking lot with the sufficient number of parking spaces – 3 per 100 sq.m – is located directly under the shopping center.

Over the past several years, Kyiv’s real estate market has been growing intensively as the increase in consumers’ purchasing capacity automatically raises the demand for shopping space from retail operators.

The current supply cannot satisfy the swiftly growing demand, which creates the deficit in the market, thus allowing for higher lease rates and high occupancy rates.

A favorable market situation stimulates the inflow of investments into real estate, which will improve the supply of shopping areas in the city in a short prospect. However, still low supply of retail space, compared with other European cities, still leaves excellent prospects for the development of this market.
